What Is a Novena?
A novena is a traditional Catholic devotion consisting of prayers offered over nine consecutive days for a specific intention. Rooted in Sacred Tradition, novenas invite us to persevere in prayer and place our trust fully in God.
About the Novena for Life
The Novena for Life is a prayer devotion focused on upholding the dignity and sanctity of every human life—especially the unborn, the vulnerable, the elderly, and those facing difficult circumstances.
This novena follows the intentions of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ “9 Days for Life” initiative and is prayed annually by Catholics across the nation.

A Message from the Knights of Columbus
As Knights, we are called to defend life, serve the vulnerable, and witness to Christ’s love in the world. Through this Novena for Life, we unite our prayers and entrust our intentions to God, asking Him to strengthen our commitment to building a culture of life.
